Sally Jane York Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Jane York in Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Scott and Myrtle Scott of Guntersville; her brothers, Fred, Jr. and Eugene [Ruth] Scott of Guntersville; her daughter Beverly York of Guntersville; and her daughter-in-law Carla York of Guntersville.
She is survived by: her husband Reverend Billy York of Albertville; her son Mark; her grandson Jake York of Guntersville; her son Matt York of Guntersville; and her grandsons, Zack Prater [Taylor] of Charlotte and Chase Prater of Birmingham. She is also survived by her family, her close friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Henryville Methodist Church.
