He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris Butler and Maebelle Butler; and his siblings, Brenda Snow, Janice Kuykendall and W. C. Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Butler; his children, Cheri Nelms (Chad) and Craig Butler (Tina); his siblings, Frances Ferguson, Bennie Butler (Elaine), LaVell Butler and Tim Butler (Terri); his grandchildren, Douglas Musick, Matt Butler (Tiffany), Shawna Musick, Drake Nelms (Linnea) and Cambree Nelms; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Musick, Julianne Butler, Grant Butler, Kayson Musick and Payton Musick.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donation be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Albertville, to general funds or maintenance funds.
