He is survived by: his wife Connie Haywood Benefield; his children, Michael Benefield (Sadie), Daniel Benefield and Angela Benefield Bryan (Wade); his grandchildren, Danielle Benefield (Austin), Allen Benefield, Danielle Whisenant, Jacob Scott, Matthew Scott, Hannah Scott and Daniel Walker (Mendy); his great grandchild Brett Walker; his grandchildren, Rosaleigh Swearengin and Jaxon Walker; his brother Gary Benefield; his nieces, Dawn Guyton (Mark), Jennifer Benefield and Kara Carrow (Jason); and also Avery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Central Baptist Church in Albertville.
