It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Swords of Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Swords; her parents, Grover Moultrie and Maragem Moultrie; and her granddaughter Katherine Abney. She is survived by: her children, Robyn Abney and Mark Swords (Lesa); her grandchildren, Grey Swords, Leah Abney (Justin Looney) and Alec Abney; her great grandchild Tatum Looney; her sisters-in-law, Valerie Swords and Lynda Gayle Knight; and her brother Roy Moultrie (Janice).
