He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Rutledge; his parents, Clarence Rutledge and Ella Jane Rutledge; and his brother J. C. Rutledge. He is survived by: his daughter Aletha Pickett (William) of Albertville, AL; his sisters, Lil Smith of Gainesville, GA and Betty Sue Eakes of Birmingham, AL; his close friend Danny Thrash of Albertville, AL; and his pet Brandy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
