She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Shankles and Martha Shankles; her husband James Ross; and her grandson Matthew Owen. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Cheek (Clinton "Cotton"), Lisa Owen and Cindy Ledford (Brent); her grandchildren, Johnathan Lynn (Emily), Brody Owen (Lizzie), Jake Ledford (Kalee), Caitlyn Owen and Allie Turner (Dalton); her great grandchildren, Will Lynn (Kelsie), Cathryn Lynn, Natalie Lynn, Andrew Lynn, Campbell Turner and Caida Ledford; her sister Linda Lee; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Cannady. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
