With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell Wayne Lang of Albertville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Lang and Nadine Lang; his brother Larry V.; his fathers-in-law, Bernard Poe and Floyd Henry; and his brother-in-law Tony Poe.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Poe Lang; his children, Brad Lang (Claire) and Angela Blackstone (Les); his grandchildren, Will Lang, Emma Lang, Anna Lang, Peyton Blackstone and Zoey Blackstone; his sister Myra Jo Dickerson (James); his sisters-in-law, Janie Margaret Hillsman, Kathy Poe Edge (Craig) and Susan Henry Barber; and his nieces and nephews, Stuart Dickerson (Sam), Cynthia Traylor (Chris), Brian Dickerson (Sharon), Amy Hillsman, Chris Poe (Sharon), Mandy McCain (Sam), Michelle Henry and Jodi Wells (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to Southside Baptist Church, 308 West Sims Avenue, Albertville, Alabama 35950.
