He was predeceased by: his parents, William Buckelew and Mary "Lizzie" Buckelew; his great grandchild Charlotte "Lottie" Bartlett; and his brothers, R. E. and Bennie Buckelew.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ogle Buckelew; his children, Billy Jack Buckelew (Sherry), Cindie Crawford (Patrick) and Tracy Drake; and his grandchildren, Heather Carroll (Colby), Kaysi Johnson, Tyler Bartlett (Chelsey), Brody Kilpatrick, Eric Drake, Josiah Buckelew and Colton Buckelew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherd's Cove in Albertville or New Heights Baptist Church.
