It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annita Kay Hyde Sumners of Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Annita Kay Hyde is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas (Nettie Hyde) and Annita; and her brother Byron Hyde. She is survived by: her husband David G. Sumners; and her siblings, Margaret Brooks (Wayne) and Jerry Hyde (Pam). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (1991 Beulah Rd, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
