He was predeceased by: his significant other Iris. He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Sharleen) and Terry (Susan); his grandchildren, Dean (Kathy), Kelly (Youlanda), Angus, Penny and Kalie; his great grandchild Hannah; and his sisters, Isobel (Bill) and Eleanor (Norm).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion in Red Deer or Onoway.
