She was predeceased by: her brothers, Herbert Flaro and Rene Flaro. She is survived by: her husband Morris Riviere; her sons, Morris Riviere Jr. (Patricia Riviere) of Red Deer, Todd Riviere (Jackie Fleck) of Red Deer and Shawn Riviere of Red Deer; her grandchildren, Blake, David and Ayla; her brothers, Leonard Flaro, Charles Flaro (Janice) and Edward Flaro (Linda); her sisters-in-law, Georgina Flaro, Gail Flaro, Carol Flaro and Pilon; and her sisters, Rita Lajoie, Marie Gunness and Bernadette Gallant.

Donations can be made to the Diabetes Canada in memory of Mary Riviere.
