She was predeceased by: her husband Barry Mitchell. She is survived by: her sister Rita Ray of Williams Lake, BC; her children, Matthew Mitchell and Jennifer Stange; her son-in-law Grant Stange; and her granddaughters, Claire of Red Deer and Eve Stange of Red Deer.

An informal memorial reception will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45 Street, Red Deer, AB at 2:00p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Red Deer Food Bank.
