He was predeceased by: his son Richard of Red Deer; his parents, Emil Wegner and Olga Wegner; and his brother Arnold of Craik. He is survived by: his wife Hope; and his children, Patty (John Andrew) of Ontario, Wayne (Janet) of Calgary and Neil (Ida) of Red Deer. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; as well as a sister in Regina and many nieces and nephews.
