He is survived by: his wife Peggy Owens Best; his children, Betsy and Bill (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Mandy, Stephanie (Jacob), Jenny (Jenn), Ryan (Katy) and Sandy (Brian). He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren.
