He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lawley and Mary Ellen Lawley; and his siblings, Harvey Lawley, Frankie Lawley, Margie Littlefield, Merle Lawrence and Barbara Shook.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Lawley; his sisters, Ona Bea Hyde, Vivian Seymer and Sue Moore; his children, Sherry Lutz (Willie), Linda Kiker, Vicki Rye (Steve) and Keith Lawley; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Stanley, Angela May (Jason), Brandon Stanley (Samantha), Brad Kiker (Lauren), Adam Kiker (Jordan), Meredith Rye and Matthew Rye.
