He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Strickland and Melbalene Strickland; and his sister Ruby Strickland. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Elaine of Alabaster; his wife Betty Elaine Strickland; his sons, Darren Burdick (DeAnne) of Fort Worth, TX and Dustin Strickland (Jenny) of Helena, AL; his grandchildren, Rebecca Garcia, Cassidy Burdick, Jacob Strickland, Dylan Strickland, Riley Strickland, Lilah Stone and Marilyn Stone; and his siblings, Janice Rogers (Wilson) of Malone, FL, Myrlene Holley (Truman) of Altha, FL, Thelma Wileman (Dale) of Bonifay, FL, Donnie Strickland (Brenda) of Graceville, FL and Sammy Strickland (Mary) of Winterhaven, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
