He was predeceased by: his wife Carol B. Parker; his parents, Edgar Parker and Nellie Parker; his daughter Robin Ann Mosley; and his sister Lois Vivian Robinson Kelley.

He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Parker and Scott Parker, Sr. (Roxanne); his stepdaughters, Angie Carter-Houston (Scottie) and Janey Jensen (John); his grandchildren, Nichole Jones (Alan), Brandon Miller (Shelly), Hope Parker, Beckey Parker, Scott Parker, Jr. (Angela), Chris Parker, Mariah Parker (Andrew Delpha), Robert Bako (Bree), John Bako, Jennifer Jackson, Andrew Bako and Dana Varelas (Peter); and his brother George Parker (Susan).

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to American Legion Legacy Fund Post #4, 181 Reid Road, Cullman, AL 35057.
