He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael O'Connor and Elizabeth O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Thornton; and his children, Patricia (Tim), Michael (Michelle), Maureen (Scott) and Carolyn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
