She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Swain and Mattie Lee Hicks Swain; her daughters, Sheron Diann Taylor and Veronica Swift (Arthur); her grandchildren, Cynthia, Carlos Jr., Jonathan, Darek, Corey, Cliff IV, Benjamin, Rebbie, Jeremy and Phyllis Coleman; and her siblings, Nathaniel, Charlie, James, Elizabeth and Alberta.
She is survived by: her children, Nellie Nelson (Gary), Cliff Taylor III (Kristan Mckinney) and Tammy Williams (Joe); her siblings, Frances Marbury and Samuel Swain; and her siblings-in-law, Annie Schooler, Cora McMullin (Rosevelt), Mayo Taylor and Joe Taylor (Pat). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (150 White St, Montevallo, AL 35115, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Voice of Faith Int'L Ministries (1560 Cunningham Dr, Helena, AL 35080).
