He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Davenport and Lorene Davenport; and his brothers, Charles and Julius "Bug" Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Anita Wyatt Davenport; his children, Alan Davenport (Cindy), Gary Davenport (Teresa), Jeff Davenport and Debra Yancy (Craig); and his sisters, Sis Braswell and Betty Wilson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
