Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leon Gene Cook (Alabaster, Alabama), born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away, on December 10, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leon Cook and Marie Olive Cook; and his brother Dr. Ray Cook. He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor Cook; his children, Chris (Gloria) and Kay Barfield; his grandsons, Eli and Nathan Cook; his sister-in-law Elaine Cook; his nephew Chad Cook (Jill); and his niece Candi Brown (Mark). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
