She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Lambert and Rubye Strickland Lambert; and her sister Brenda Ammons. She is survived by: her husband Don Hurt; her children, Shanon Hurt, Timothy Mullins (Stephanie), Meredith Hurt, Leigh Pounds (Andrew) and Dana Hurt Leslie; her grandchildren, Michael Hurt, Kodie Box, Taylor Leslie, Preston Pounds, Jaxon Leslie, Meghan Box, Peyton Pounds and Landon Hurt; her sister Teresa Phillips (Kerry); and her sister-in-law Peggy Kent. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her church family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be directed to Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster, Alabama.
