He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Durrett and Annie Lee Hendrix Durrett; his son Barry Durrett; and his siblings, William "Bill" Durrett and Martha Durrett Langston.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Durrett; his son Greg Durrett (Teresa); his grandchildren, Brent Durrett (Julie) and Anna Durrett White (Jonathan); his great grandchild Charlotte Durrett; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" Durrett (Linda) and Troy "Tommy" Durrett (Gale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Jim's memory be made to the Siluria Baptist Church at 10696 AL Hwy 119 Alabaster, AL 35007.
