It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Leon Reid of Alabaster, Alabama, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman L. Reid and Blanche Annette Helton Reid; his wife Sarah Jane Gary Reid; and his brother Carl A. Reid. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Allen Reid (Sandra) of Alabaster, Randall Lee Reid (Terry) of Pinson, AL and Catherine Deann Reid Seckinger (David) of Marietta, GA; his grandchildren, Erica Barragan (Antonio), Ashley Betke (Matt), Ian Reid, Evan Reid, Audrey Reid (TJ), Adam Reid, Noah Reid, Shelby Reid and Bailey Reid; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Georgia, Oliver, Foster, Leo and Sage; his sister Deborah Lynn Reid York (Bill); and his significant other Yorkie. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and close friends.
