He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Chester Wilson and Inez Riley Wilson; his wife Gloria Wilson; his siblings, Charlie Joe Wilson and Jeanette Johnson; his children, Carol Clem (Stan) and Darryl E. Wilson; his sister Frances Wilson Vardaman (Jimmy); his granddaughter Jaclyn Wilson Sides (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Shelby and Piper Sides; and his brother Steve Andrews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Alabaster First Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115). A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
