He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Mandy Mealer) and Tim (Michele Mealer); his stepchildren, Shannon St. John (Shane St) and Wesley Seals of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Cody Mealer of Hoover, Emily Mealer of Columbiana, Jeremiah Mealer, Savannah Mealer of Maylene, Lindsey Mealer of Pelham, Ivy St. John and Owen St. John of Trussville; and also, Susan Lewis Mealer, Art Mealer of Paris and Earl Mealer (Sandy Mealer) of Puryear, Tennessee..
