He was predeceased by: his siblings, Virginia Ash and Jackson Lynn Mays. He is survived by: his wife Emily Jean Mays; his daughter Sheryl Mays Smith (Kenneth Smith); and his grandson Cory Alan Smith (Leen Matalka). He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
