It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Lynne Godwin (Alabaster, Alabama), who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Pat and Sarah "Nanny" Helvie. She is survived by: her parents, Teresa Whitfield (Rodney) and Fred Godwin (Paula); her brothers, Joel Godwin and Kelby Godwin; and her grandfather David Smith (Glenell). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
