He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Allen Hawkins, Sr. and Ella Kate Burns; his brothers, Robert, Jack, Paul and Tom; and his great grandchildren, Parker Green and Noah Green.

He is survived by: his wife Ressie Brasher Hawkins; his daughter Cathy Green (Doug); his grandchildren, Ben Green and Amy Gilham (Chris); his great grandchildren, Brody Gilham, Tucker Green, Ellie Gilham, Jackson Green and Anna Gilham; and his sister Lanett Beasley (Gene).
