She was predeceased by: her husband James Arnold Rogers; her son Jimmy Rogers; her parents, Donald Black and Myrtice Black; and her siblings, Donnie Black, John Black and Nancy Sanford.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Rogers (Laura) and Robert Rogers (Melissa); and her sister Patricia Mason (David). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
