He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Scales (George) and Vanessa Rodriguez (Efrain); and his grandchildren, Derian Hicks, Casey Lee Hicks, Fernando G. Rodriguez (Kylie Walker) and Joseph Rodriguez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

“I am so sorry to hear about Larry’s passing. We were best of friends years ago, and I have tried to contact him a number of times, but never could reach him. I think about him and the good times that we had hunting and fishing together. I said yesterday that I hoped he was ok, and this morning I Googled his hame and found that he has left us. My heart goes out to all of his family, especially Donna who I remember as a little girl. Roland Lewis”
