He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Lucille Calia Fields; his parents, Willie Rose Turner Fields and Claude Lee Fields; and his sister Margaret Juanita Fields Maddox. He is survived by: his children, Vikki Fields Pierson (Tony), Henry Lee Fields (Tammy) and Margaret Fields Black (Eddy); and his grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Pierson (Nicole), Nicholas Cole Black, Michaela Lorin Fields, Jacob Lee Fields and Mackenzie Rachel Fields.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Joe Fields or to Prudes Creek Baptist Church.
