She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon L. Hicks; and her son Edwin L. Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Hicks (Linda) and Lloyd V. Hicks (Sally); and her grandchildren, Kenneth Hicks II (Heidi), Wesley Hicks (Amanda), Ethan Hicks (Brandie), Tonya Hicks, Jennifer Thomas (Price), Rachel Hicks and Daniel Hicks (Lindsay). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Prudes Creek Baptist Cemetery Fund, 17240 Franklin Road, Brookwood, Alabama 35444.
