It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayoma Meigs (Addison, Alabama), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Jeff Wiggins; her husband Floye Meigs; her parents, Waymon Elam and Dorsey Freeman Elam; her stepmother Marge Elam Burrows; her brother Olen; her sister-in-law Carolyn Elam; and her stepbrother Lavon Sweatmon.
She is survived by: her sons, Rickey Meigs (Sheila) and Rodger Meigs (Penny); her granddaughters, Rachel King (Jordan), Hannah Couch (James), Abbey Meigs and Lana Hines (Vance); her great grandchildren, Presley, Grayson, Emmy and Elly; her stepsister Kathy Green (Johnny); and her sister-in-law Shirley Sweatmon.
