It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Butler of Addison, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larkin Walker (Mamie) and Mamie Walker; her husband Bobby Butler; and her son David Butler. She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Butler (Rhonda), Roger Butler, Andy Butler (Marietta) and Danny Butler (Lori); and her grandchildren, Jessicca Carter (Jay), Kourtney Wright (Brad), Chase Butler (Raven), Kamron Butler (Summer), Tyler Butler, Casey Butler (Kristen), Katie Butler, Hayden Butler, Reilly Butler, Macey Butler and Hadley Butler. She is also survived by Twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Addison (32657 US-278, Addison, AL 35540). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sardis Baptist Church No. (3789 Sardis-Airport Rd, Addison, AL 35540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sardis Baptist Church (3789 Sardis-Airport Rd, Addison, AL 35540).
