It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emerson Clarke Alston Jr. of Addison, Alabama, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Nelda June Butler Alston; and his parents, Emerson Clarke and Lizabelle Dewberry Alston. He is survived by: his wife Regina "Reggie" Plyer Alston; his children, Paula Alston Hardin (Joe), Anita Kilpatrick (Larry) and Kevin Alston (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Rob Clemmons, Hannah Hardin Witt, Haley Hardin Roberts, Riley Kilpatrick, Connor Kilpatrick and Michelle Drucker; and his great grandchildren, Landon Terry, Rhett Roberts, Tyde Witt and Saban Witt.
