He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Darnell and Ezella Darnell; his sister Pauline Darnell; and his siblings-in-law, Janie Darnell, Judy Darnell and Glenn Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Colburn (Joey) and Rodney Darnell (Samanda); his grandchildren, Amber Walker (Jeff), Candace Robbins, Alexis Darnell and Abbey Darnell; his great grandchild Gunner Ross Walker; and his siblings, Oran "Dob" Darnell and Betty Perry.
