It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Carol Ergle (Addison, Alabama), born in Arley, Alabama, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Truman Ergle; her parents, Travis Smothers and Jewel Smothers; her brothers, Benny Joe and Terry Smothers; and her close friends, Shirley Kilgo and Mavis Box.
She is survived by: her brothers, Chris Godfrey and Michael Turner; her children, Byron Key (Melissa), Lisa Burns (Wade) and Stephanie Parrish (Stan); her stepsons, Bruce and Gary Ergle; her grandchildren, Amanda Key, Dustin Burns, Kasey Michael (Ben), Lindsey Defoor (Adam) and Landon Parrish (Kylie); and her siblings, Roger Dale "Rooster" Smothers, Kathy Hampton (Bill) and Brenda Gilbreath (Felix). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
