He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Jack" Capps and Dorma Taylor Capps. He is survived by: his sister Frankie Capps of Bayview; his nephew Joshua Brasseale (Bryan Steadman) of Irondale; and his aunt Martha Capps.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bell Forestdale Chapel (2077 Pratt Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35214). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the Village Falls Cemetery.
