He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley O. Higgins and Litha Higgins; and his siblings, Stevon Higgins, Janice Hurley, Donna Crane and Celia Kelley.

He is survived by: his grandsons, Carson Nalley and Parker Griffin; his parents-in-law, Mary and Raymond Vines; his wife Nancy Vines Higgins; his children, Randall Keith Higgins, Jr. (Cindy) and Amanda Griffin (Cody); his grandson Garrett Higgins; and his brothers, Wayne Higgins (Susan), Lynn Higgins and Gary Higgins (Dawn).
