He is survived by: his sons, Elder Monroe Jones, Jr. (Amy) of Southfield, MI, Elder Herman Jones (Gracie) of Birmingham, AL and Charles Jones (Betty) of Adamsville, AL; his brother Mose Gillard of Ensley, AL; his sisters-in-law, Katie B. Sankey of Birmingham, AL, Roberta Kennedy of Buffalo, NY and Zepherine Scott of New York; and his niece Jossie Jackson of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild.
