It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Howard Smith of Adamsville, Alabama, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Margaret Elizabeth Howard may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Howard and Lula Howard (Watson Smith). She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Allan and Lisa Trammell (Roger Keeton); her grandchildren, Jeremy Allan (Monice), Rex Trammell, Jr. (Behre), Ryan Trammell (Brandy) and Luke Trammell (Samanthe); and her siblings, Mary Evelyn Ellis, Charles G. Howard, Jr. and Tommy Arwood. She is also survived by ten Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midway United Methodist Church (3904 Oakwood Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Midway Cemetery (2077 Pratt Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35214).
