He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Painter (Elizabeth) and Brittany Painter; his granddaughters, Kailey Painter and Emily Painter; his siblings, Vicki Whitley (Greg), Eddie Painter (Liz) and Sharon Tidwell; his nephews, Tyler Whitley (Rachelle), Neil Kelley and Kyle Whitley (Haley); and his niece Katherine Whitley.
