He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Mize and Juanita Tice Mize; and his sister Patricia of Washington. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah T. Mize; his children, Ashley Mize, Heather Mize, John Mize and Blake Mize; and his sister Nelda Faulkner.
