He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moore, Sr. and Ella Moore; his wife Mary Kathryn Moore; and his sisters, Virginia Pike and Jimmie Keeton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracee Durrett (Frank) and Kanelia Burchfield (Michael); his grandchildren, Lauren Brown (William), Hunter Burchfield, Jake Burchfield, Katie Durrett and Will Durrett; and his great grandchild Lucy Brown.
