He was predeceased by: his father James Joseph McLean Sr.; and his sister Janie McLean Dutton. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Fowler McLean; his mother Frankie Perrin McLean; and his sisters, Charlene McLean McGowan, Patricia McLean Scheile, Cathy McLean Causey, Rosie McLean Bradford and Margie McLean Bookout.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children's of Alabama's Lung Cancer Division, in memory of James Joseph McLean Jr.
