He was predeceased by: his parents, Brett Peterson and Leona Peterson; and his former wife Viola Wingo Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Moody Peterson; his daughter Vicky Gaines (Olen); his stepchildren, Doug Moody (Mary Susan) and Valerie Parker (Jeff); his grandchildren, Timothy Gaines (Lara), April Zuccala (Phil), Jacob Moody (Rachel), Jessica Topazi (Steve) and Clay Arrington (Gabbie); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma, Tucker, Reed, Danielle, Victoria, Phillip, Jaden, Madison and Isla Mae. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
