He was predeceased by: his daughter Camilla Ann Files Douglas; his parents, Nora Belle Poe Files and George Houston Files; his brother Charles Van Files (Beulah); and also, Annie Mae Wells Wilbanks and William Homer Wilbanks.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, George Ashley Files, Adam Grant Files (Deb), Christopher Lee Douglas and Misty Ann Nichols (Richard); his brother Bobby Deloyd Files (Wanda); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Wilbanks Quinn (Roger) and Ronny Wilbanks. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
