He is survived by: his wife Brenda Echols of Adamsville; his son Wayne Echols (Lori) of Gardendale; his grandchildren, Kylie Echols, Brady Echols, Sonnie Rainey, Zack, Nola Spradlin, Tyler, Trae Spradlin and Jude Smelcer; his stepchildren, Cindy Benefield, Rick, Steve Smelcer and Randi; and his great grandchildren, River Rainey and Tucker Robison.
