He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewy Cox and Mary Ellin Evans Cox; his siblings, Junior, Billy, O'Neal, Larry, Mary Lou Burnett and Wilma Fay Cox; his brothers-in-law, Henry Cantrell, Dave McKinney and Ralph Burnett; and his granddaughter Kaylee Reanna Pannell.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Cox; his children, Renee Pannell (Glenn), Jeff Cox, Steve Cox (April) and Gina Estes (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Kyndall Pannell, Ashley Cox, Hunter Cox, Ethan Estes and Sidney Estes; his great grandchild Beckham Cox; and his sisters, Emogene Hunsinger of Birmingham, Margaret McKinney of Michigan, Lynda Barber of Haleyville and Martha L. Miles (Jimmy Dale) of Winfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
